I work with clients at different stages of their design journey. Some need comprehensive project management; others want expert guidance while managing execution themselves. Both approaches get the same level of design expertise.
Design Consultation
2 hour in-home assessment with design direction, material guidance, and contractor recommendations. For homeowners who need professional insight but will manage their own project. Fee credited toward full-service within 60 days.
Partial Design Services
Kitchen and bathroom design, space planning, material selections, furniture plans. Professional design for specific project phases while you handle procurement and installation.
Full-Service Design
Comprehensive project management from architectural planning through final installation. Custom millwork, contractor coordination, complete procurement, styling.

We begin by understanding how you live now and how you want to live. Through careful listening and site analysis, we assess your home's current state, identify opportunities, and develop a clear vision aligned with your goals and budget.

Phase 2: Architectural Planning
Before selecting a single piece of furniture, we address the architecture. Should walls be removed for open-concept living? Does the kitchen need to expand? Would the primary suite benefit from reconfiguring adjacent spaces? These fundamental spatial decisions shape everything that follows.

Phase 3: Material and Finish Selection
We specify every material in your project: flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, paint colors, fixtures, and lighting. These selections consider durability, aesthetics, budget, and how they work together as a cohesive whole.

Phase 4: Custom Elements and Millwork
Many South Denver homes benefit from custom solutions: built-in storage systems, window seats, mudroom organization, kitchen islands designed for your exact needs. We design these elements and work with skilled craftsmen to execute them flawlessly.

Only after the architecture and finishes are resolved do we turn to furnishings. We curate pieces from multiple sources; mixing custom upholstery, vintage finds, contemporary designs, and your cherished heirloom pieces. The result feels collected over time, not catalog-ordered.

What if I’m not ready for full-service design? I offer design consultations for homeowners who want expert guidance but will manage their own project. Many consultation clients return for full-service when they're ready for their next phase.
How long do projects typically take? Consultations are completed in one 2 hour session. Partial design services typically span 4-8 weeks depending on scope. Full-service renovations range from 8-24 months from design through installation.
Can you work with my existing contractor? Yes. I collaborate effectively with clients' preferred contractors. If you don't have one, I can recommend trusted professionals who consistently deliver quality work.
Do you incorporate existing furniture? Absolutely. I regularly work with clients' existing pieces, heirloom furniture, and cherished items. Part of my role is determining what to keep, what can be reimagined, and what to release.
What if our budget is limited? I'm experienced at phasing projects to align with budget realities. We can design the complete vision while prioritizing implementation in stages, allowing you to tackle the most important elements first.
