Since I shared the space that inspired my living room I should share with you my living room. I LOVE this house. I feel personality in architecture and space and our house is very matronly and sweet. She's not fancy, but she's caring & comfortable.

Easy Canvas Prints contacted me to see if I'd be interested in trying their products since they're in Austin & I'm in Houston, we're neighbors see. I've never had an image replicated onto canvas, but I've heard of the concept & have been curious. I decided to try it with a client since I'm out of wall space, bold & brave! After speaking with the company I felt confident that they would come through & they certainly did! I am amazed at how easy the process is & how quickly I received the canvas. In about a week after finally placing my order the canvas was on my doorstep!
I'm refreshing & updating the Delta Gamma sorority house at the University of Houston. One of our main goals was to add more DG to the main floor of the house. They didn't have a painting or even a picture of the founders anywhere to be found. In comes Easy Canvas Prints. With lot's of patience on their part (sometimes designer's can be so difficult;)), I finally decided on the image & edited it onto the size of canvas I wanted on their website. It's so easy!
My favorite part is that the image wraps around the edge of the canvas! It looks so high-end. Everyone loves it. Really I can't believe it was so easy & the product is actually great. That is so rare! I would use Easy Canvas Prints again in a minute. What do you think? You like it? I'm going to have full room shots soon (the ladies are preparing for recruitment, you know rush, now so I couldn't get a shot of the entire room. I can't wait to show you the whole project!
From time to time I'm contacted about an opportunity to try a product & review it. I honestly rarely take anyone up on these offers because most just don't seem to fit my business. I won't share anything with you that I wouldn't use for a client or in my own home.Friday Back When.
"There's no larger area of color in any room than its four walls and ceiling. This mass of color sets the stage for furnishings if used cleverly."
"With today's innovations in materials and designs, walls become more than an expanse of space on which to display an accessory or two. As part of the room's background, they should complement its furnishings- but they can do more."
"Walls can be the dominating feature of room decor. They can draw attention away from awkward architectural features (if you learn the basics of camouflage), visually change the size and shape of a room, and provide the focal point for furniture arrangement."
